KIDS & TEENS
Our Kids/Teens class is a specially designed program to help build confidence, athletic ability, and cognitive thinking all while working in a team atmosphere. Kids workouts are, first and foremost, FUN! That’s Rule #1, and Rule #2 is to never break Rule #1, always have FUN! The goal of the program is to establish a lifelong love for fitness at the earliest age possible. The workouts consist of functional movements that kids need to do in every day life such as squat, push, pull, run, throw, climb, lift, and jump. During class, kids learn how to perform the movements safely and effectively under the direct supervision of our trainers. And, because children face many unexpected physical challenges in every day life, our Kids workouts are also constantly varied. No two workouts are ever the same, so children never get bored with the routine and the constant variation of movements keeps them interested and excited about participating.
The focus of the Kids program is to improve general physical fitness in order to prepare children to be safe in sports and in life. It is a broad and inclusive program that will help kids and young teens become well-rounded athletes who are better at any and every sport that they play. Our trainers work with the kids to increase their physical competence in many different fitness domains: Cardiovascular and Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Speed, Coordination, Agility and Balance.
- WHEN: Tuesday + Thursday @ 5pm (Kids) & 5:45pm (Teens). Summer hours change to mornings – contact us for more information on current class schedule.
- AGE GROUP: 5-18 years of age. We run 2 separate groups at 2 different times. “JV” for the younger kids. “Varsity” for older experienced kids.
