RTC Fitness 2025 Intramural Open Finale: Community, Competition, and Champions
After three unforgettable weeks of tie-dye, monochrome magic, neon chaos, wall walks, barbells, and more, the 2025 RTC Fitness Intramural Open has officially wrapped!
Our community once again showed the world what this season is really about: showing up, cheering loud, trying hard things, and being proud of ourselves and each other. It wasn’t just about the workouts—it was about connection, effort, resilience, and FUN.
Now it’s time to reveal our final standings and give well-earned shoutouts to the teams and individuals who made this year so special. 💙💚🖤
And one more BIG win—Round the Clock CrossFit finished 223rd worldwide in the official CrossFit Games Affiliate Leaderboard, our best Open finish ever as a gym! Way to go, RTC!

🏆 Final Team Standings
Over three weeks of points earned through performance, participation, team spirit, theme engagement, and overall awesomeness, the final team rankings shook out like this:
🥇 1st Place: Gym & Juice
Gym & Juice came in swinging this year as the defending champs—and they did not disappoint! Strong in both performance and spirit, they had the best week of scores in 25.3 and almost swept the team theme participation in Week 2. Led by Coach Jenny and Coach Romero, their consistency and team unity earned them back-to-back titles!
🥈 2nd Place: Hakuna MuhSQUATa
The first-year captains Coach Kelsey and Coach Olivia led a team that was loud, proud, and decked out in tie-dye, groutfits, and neon. They took Best Dressed in Week 3 and won the surprise team relay challenge. Their community spirit and enthusiasm were contagious all season long.
🥉 3rd Place: High Spirits
Coach Chris and Coach Maddie’s squad may have had a tough Week 3, but they stayed true to their name in the most ironic way possible. Blacked out and boldly sarcastic, they showed up and cheered—even if they weren’t always competing. You can’t win them all, but you can definitely laugh along the way. See you in 2026, High Spirits!
💫 Overall Spirit of the Open Honorees
These athletes embodied the true spirit of the Open—through encouragement, resilience, and being the kind of teammate that lifts others up.
Matt S – Matt jumped into his first Open just one month after starting CrossFit, and it was like he’d been part of the community for years. Whether he was changing weights during FNL, supporting others, or grinding through tough workouts during Sunday Showdown, Matt was a quiet force of positivity and hustle. We can’t wait to see where his journey takes him next.
Sheila F – From effortless thrusters to podium finishes in the dead hang, Sheila brought calm confidence and intentionality to every week of the Open. Her presence was steady, her movement was smooth, and her encouragement to others never wavered. She set a powerful example of showing up with focus and heart.
Coach Jenny – A pillar of RTC, Coach Jenny didn’t just lead her team—she lifted the entire gym. With huge PRs in both 25.2 and 25.3, she proved that coaching and competing can go hand-in-hand. But beyond the leaderboard, she was always judging, high-fiving, and hyping others. That’s a leader we’re proud to follow.
Michelle H – Though she couldn’t make it to FNL or Sunday Showdown for 25.3, Michelle didn’t let that stop her. She tackled the workout solo on Monday night—just her and the clock—and crushed it. Her grit, consistency, and dedication, even when life gets busy, are a testament to her resilience.
Natalie P – Natalie’s reflection after 25.1 reminded us why the Open matters. She showed up despite fear and insecurity and found support, encouragement, and pride in what her body could do. She proved that showing up with vulnerability is one of the strongest things you can do.
Holly T – Holly fought through hip pain in 25.2 and made the smart, tough decision to sit out 25.3. But she still showed up, cheered, and supported everyone with a full heart. Her self-awareness and determination to celebrate her body’s “cans” over her “can’ts” made a huge impact.
Coach Olivia – Stepping into her first year as a team captain and the interim RTC “clock starter,” Olivia balanced leadership, organization, and fun like a pro. She brought order to chaos, high energy to every night, and her team absolutely loved her for it.
Anthony S – Anthony got his first-ever in WOD muscle-ups in 25.2 and PR’d by 56 reps! But even more inspiring was his humble attitude, contagious positivity, and constant encouragement to his teammates. His smile and spirit never wavered, and he reminded us all what progress looks like.
Tara F – Tara took on her very first Open this year just a few months after joining RTC, and she brought the perfect blend of determination and positivity to every class and event. She scaled appropriately, tried new things, and constantly pushed herself out of her comfort zone. Her growth this season was inspiring, and her smile was contagious.
Coach Nate – Best Dressed All-Star – Coach Nate didn’t just show up—he showed out every single week, bringing next-level energy and theme commitment that matched his intensity in the workouts.
Kevin I & Kathy D – Our Masters Athletes – Every Open season, we are reminded of how fortunate we are to have leaders like Kevin Irwin and Kathy Darmstadt on the floor. These two represented our Masters division with grit, heart, and pride. Kevin dominated the intramual leaderboard every week and had a great showing on the CrossFit Leaderboard, and Kathy, always smiling, judged, cheered, and reminded us that consistency and experience are a powerful combo. You both inspire us to keep going—stronger and smarter every year.
Mandi & Jeff S – Though they chose to sit out this year’s Open, the Snyders were present every Friday Night Lights, cheering louder than anyone and showing what unwavering support looks like. Their presence lit up the gym week after week, reminding us that community is about more than competition—it’s about showing up for each other.
🎉 Until Next Year…
This community crushed it. From the RTC Kids taking the floor with the adults, to the theme participation, to the coaches stepping in and stepping up, we’ve seen every kind of win: physical, mental, and emotional.
Thank you to everyone who judged, cheered, danced, dressed up, did a redo, helped set up, stayed late, or just showed up with a good attitude.
And thank you to Coach Jeanine (Jeanine Booker Photography) for capturing so many of these memories behind the lens. 📸
The Open may be over, but the energy you brought to this season? That stays with us all year long.
Here’s to doing hard things, together. 💪
