
Summer break is almost here, and that means it’s time to lock in a plan to keep your athlete strong, focused, and improving all season long. At RTC Fitness, we’ve built a full lineup of youth training options designed to meet your child where they are and help them level up—physically and mentally.
Whether your child is new to sports or looking to stay competitive through the summer, we have an option that fits. Here’s everything you need to know about our Summer 2025 Youth Training programs:
🏆 Youth Training Options at RTC Fitness
1. JV Youth Class
- Who it’s for: Middle school athletes or beginners (ages 8-12)
- Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:30–7:15 PM
- What to expect: A fun and structured class focused on bodyweight strength, speed, coordination, and confidence.
- Dates: June 3 to August 15 (No class during 4th of July week)
- Format: Large group (not capped)
2. Varsity Youth Class
- Who it’s for: High school athletes or experienced middle school athletes (ages 12-16)
- Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 11:30 AM–1:00 PM
- What to expect: A progressive strength & conditioning class with a focus on lifting, speed, agility, and injury prevention.
- Dates: June 3 to August 15 (No class during 4th of July week)
- Format: Large group (not capped)
3. Small Group Training (Semi-Private)
- Who it’s for: Athletes wanting more individualized coaching
- Schedule: 2x/week, scheduled based on group availability
- Dates: June 2 to August 22 (12 consecutive weeks, no breaks)
- Format: Small groups capped at 5 athletes

Small Group Options:
- Novice: For athletes brand new to strength training. Includes unlimited JV/Varsity class access.
- Intermediate: For athletes developing consistency and form. Includes unlimited JV/Varsity or open gym access based on athlete level.
- Advanced: For experienced athletes. Includes 2x/week private coaching + 2 days/week of coach-led open gym and custom programming.
📅 Key Dates & Details
- Youth Classes (JV & Varsity): Run for 10 weeks from June 3 to August 15, with no class the week of July 4
- Small Group Training: Runs for 12 consecutive weeks from June 3 to August 22
🤔 Common Questions from Parents
Do the youth classes have a limit on athletes?
No! JV and Varsity are open-enrollment and designed to support many athletes through coach-led stations and age-appropriate training.
What if my child has a vacation planned?
No problem! Just let us know in advance and your athlete will have travel plans based on what equipment they have available to them while traveling. Classes are not prorated but offer great value over the full season. Small groups may accommodate holds, depending on the timeframe. Reach out to discuss.
