What Monica Loves About RTC!
Monica tried a class at RTC way back in 2018, and ended up joining the gym in 2021. A long-time fitness enthusiast who was a high school athlete, Monica has always enjoyed being active outdoors by walking, hiking, swimming, and biking. No stranger to physical setbacks, Monica credits RTC with coach and community support when she has needed it most. “RTC provides a supportive community, both members and staff,” she says.“It’s basically a one-stop fitness shop, from nutrition, to training, to recovery.” Within the past couple of years, Monica has come back from both shoulder surgery and a broken ankle, and has this to say about her recovery from both: “Being part of a community makes you miss that community when you are absent. I knew when I was having surgery, so Allie helped me keep moving with weekly tailored workouts. After my ankle, the variety of class offerings got me back into the gym months sooner than if only CrossFit was offered. Imagine how much longer each of those setbacks would have been if not for RTC!” Monica has some simple but powerful words for the impact that RTC has had on her fitness journey: “RTC keeps me going, keeps me accountable, and keeps me healthy!”
