What Kurt Loves About RTC!
Kurt, who has been a member of RTC since 2022, received his bachelor’s degree in Strength and Conditioning at the University of Akron. He has an interesting story about how he got started in CrossFit training. “One of my professors owned a CrossFit gym,” he says, “and his final exam that would get you an automatic A in the class was to do 100 pull ups in 10 minutes. He said one of his female athletes did it in under 6 minutes. I think I got 74 and was completely smoked. I couldn’t believe it was even possible, so I interned at his gym, SPC CrossFit in Kent, for a few years before I got hired there. I have been doing CrossFit ever since.” Kurt has only positive things to say about his current gym home, RTC. “I like not having to think about what I am going to do for the day,” he says. “Having a busy schedule, this allows me to jump in, do a quick workout, and be on my way.” And in regards to the community, his thoughts are simple…”just really good people who are always welcoming to new members.”
