February Member of the Month Scott Anderson, who joined RTC last year, says that he has “always stayed relatively active,” enjoying cycling, mountain biking, tennis, and lifting weights. “Around 2019, I started doing some group classes at one of the box style gyms,” he says. “I did some HIIT, lifting, and cardio mix-ups. It became my favorite pastime.” Scott ultimately came to RTC “looking for some different programming and trainers.” Now that he’s a fixture at RTC, Scott enjoys a mixture of the class options that are available, and they’re helping him meet his fitness goals. “I really needed to do some more focused lifting, and the Build classes have been great for that. I don’t have to think. I just show up and follow the excellent program on the screen. Burn classes are great for cardio and the wods are just plain painful but so much fun.” In addition to the varied classes, Scott gives a shoutout to the entire RTC community: “It’s a great community with awesome members, trainers, and programs. It’s easy to stay on my fitness track when it never gets boring!”
Scott has two daughters, ages 28 and 26, who he proudly says are “wonderful, productive members of society.” His older daughter is married and lives in Chicago, while his youngest resides in Ocean Ridge, FL. Although Scott does not have any pets of his own, he does love his best friend’s pets, which include 5 dogs, a cat, and a pig. Scott runs a small manufacturing business with his brother and cousin called Everhard Products, which “makes metal things you’ve never heard of!”
Congratulations Scott!
