Motivation, milestones, progress. The 2022 RTC Hot Girl Summer Challenge is for anyone. For newbies. For seasoned competitors. We’re all in it together. 

IT’S YOUR TIME TO SHINE

Over a five-week period beginning Thursday, July 14, 2022, the HGS Challenge will give RTC members the chance to challenge themselves and shine. Regardless of your age or ability, when you join for the 2022 HGS Challenge, you’re signing up to bring out your very best, create memories, and have a blast.

To register, go to LINK below. Each week we will release ONE of the CrossFit Girl WODs. Each workout will be written with 3 tracks – Rx’d, Intermediate, foundations. You don’t have to be a hardcore CrossFitter to have heard of “The Girls.” Granted, you may not know what (or who?) these girls are, but if you’ve spent any time around the CrossFit community, you’ve probably heard names like Isabel, Jackie, and Helen thrown around.

These “girls” are the names of specific benchmark workouts. They’re designed to take a snapshot of your current fitness level as related to the areas of fitness each workout is designed to test. To be clear, each Girl WOD is designed to test your fitness in slightly different ways. For instance, one Girl workout might focus on cardiovascular capacity, while another tests power, speed, strength, or flexibility.

Workout details are released in our member group & via email on Thursdays at 3pm.

GET MOVING

Do the workout. It’s most fun with friends, but you can do it whenever as long as you do them within the weekly deadlines.

CELEBRATE YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS

Log your scores. Cheer for others as they push themselves too. Celebrate with high fives.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

01. SIGN UP

Go to theLINK here prior to 7/11/22.

02. WORK OUT 

Throwdown on Saturday mornings* with a group or find another time during the week to get it in. 

*Weekend of July 30: group workout will be Sunday morning at 10:45am due to HOF 5k on campus. 

**Remember if you can’t make a Saturday morning, you can do any other time during the challenge and still be eligible for completion t-shirt and prizes!

03. LOG YOUR SCORE

Log your score to get credit for completing the weekly WOD.

04. GET PRIZES 

Everyone that completes all 5 WODS and logs 5 scores will be awarded with your choice of the Official HGS t-shirt or tank top. 

Plus there will be other awards and prizes along the way!

  • Week 3: GIRL WOD 3 TBA on 7/28
  • Week 4: GIRL WOD 4 TBA on 8/4
