Nutrition Coaching FAQs

1. How is personal nutrition coaching different from meal plans?

Meal plans provide a structured weekly menu and grocery list, while nutrition coaching helps you learn more about your nutrition habits, tendencies, and patterns. Together with your coach, you'll create strategies that fit your lifestyle-whether that looks like tracking macros, building sustainable habits, or working on mindset shifts around food.

2. What does a typical week of coaching look like?

You'll receive weekly check-ins with your coach where you'll review progress, discuss challenges, and adjust your plan. Between check-ins, you'll have access to your coach for questions and support, ensuring you're never left on your own.

3. Do I have to count macros?

Not unless you want to. Macro tracking is one of many tools we can use, but coaching is about finding the approach that works best for you. Some clients track macros, some focus on habits like protein intake or mindful eating, and others focus on accountability with flexible guidance.

4. Will I still get personalized plans?

Yes! Everything we do is custom to you-your goals, your schedule, your preferences, and your lifestyle. Instead of a fixed meal plan, you'll get flexible strategies and guidance you can apply to real life, whether that's at home, eating out, or on the go.

5. What if I have a busy lifestyle?

That's exactly who coaching is for. Many of our clients are busy professionals, parents, or athletes who don't have time for complicated diets. Your coach will help you simplify nutrition, make better choices on the fly, and create a sustainable system that works for your reality.

6. Can nutrition coaching help with mindset around food?

7. How much accountability will I get?

A lot! Between weekly check-ins, real-time support, and personalized feedback, you'll always know your next step. Having a coach by your side helps you stay consistent and build momentum.

8. Can I switch from nutrition coaching to meal plans (or vice versa)?

Yes. If you start with one approach and later find you'd like the structure of meal plans or the flexibility of coaching, you can easily switch. Many clients even combine both at different points in their journey.

9. Do I need to be local to work with a coach?

Nope! Just like with meal plans, all coaching is delivered virtually, so you can participate from anywhere. Weekly check-ins and support happen online, making it simple and accessible.

10. Can I use HSA or FSA funds for coaching?

Yes! We partner with Truemed, which means your coaching may be eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement, helping you save money while investing in your health.
